After nearly a decade of prayer and preparation, on Sunday morning, May 18, 2008 the people of Robinhood Road Baptist Church unanimously voted to extend the call to Jason East to become our Minister of Youth.
Jason and Melanie come to us from Willow Oaks Baptist Church in Walnut Cove where he faithfully served as a children’s church worker, teacher, and assistant Youth Minister. You can listen to his testimonial here.
Jason and Melanie still live in Walnut Cove along with their two retrievers, Samson and Sadie Mae. Jason is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and throughout the week Jason is employed by RR Donnelley, where he serves as an account manager. The East family has been a real blessing to our youth ministry and entire congregation. By building relationships with students, equipping leaders, ministering to parents, focusing on mission work, and simply being faithful to his calling, Jason has raised the bar for our youth ministry and we look forward to great days ahead.
Once again we have been reminded that God is good…all the time.
