Prime†imers – is the Robinhood Road Baptist Church seniors club. Our purpose is to sponsor good fellowship and wholesome recreation for our club’s membership.
Our mission is to carry out our Lord’s instructions to assist others, not only in our own group but in our church and community. We collect needed items for Samaritan Ministries each month, help mission efforts by other groups in our church, and are prayer warriors.
Now don’t get us wrong…we’re not all business. We really like to have fun too. Laughter is always plentiful with “senior” friends. You may find us on a day trip picking cherries or seeing a play, eating out together after our monthly meeting, or holding a yard sale to raise funds for the club or a church project. As one of our mission projects, we visit Vienna Village Retirement Community the first Wednesday of each month to sing hymns, have Bible study, and fellowship with the residents.
Anyone who is 55 or over is welcome to join our group. Our regular meeting is the first Monday of each month at 11 a.m. in the church Library. Come visit one of our meetings to see if you might want to help us spread God’s love.
