Music Ministry
In Colossians chapter 3 is a passage giving us a concise view of the "new man", or one who is redeemed by God's grace. Several characteristics are listed starting in verse 12, and music is brought forth in verse 16.
It is clear that music is to be an audible part of our praise to the Lord and edification, or encouraging, of each other in the Body of Christ. This is a direct result of God's work in us and His word taking hold in our lives.

At Robinhood Road Baptist Church, we endeavor to use music where the lyrics are, most importantly, biblically correct. After all, most of what we know from God's word is at least reinforced, if not initially taught, through music.
We include a mix of musical styles ranging from the traditional hymns to gospel and contemporary selections from the choir and featured vocalists.
Music used by the redeemed is to be worshipful, exciting, dynamic, and uplifting while expressing the joy of a relationship with the Lord as seen in many biblical references in the old testament.
